Als wir in Ecuador ankamen besassen wir nur geringe Grundkenntnisse der spanischen Sprache. Doch mit Hilfe des wirklich guten und preiswerten Einzelunterrichtes in der Sprachschule "La Lengua" fiel es uns schon nach einer Woche recht leicht einfache Gespraeche auf spanisch zu fuehren. Wir wurden in der Schule sehr herzlich empfangen und der Einstieg in die Sprache wurde uns erheblich erleichtert. Ausserdem kamen wir durch die Schule sehr schnell in Kontakt mit anderen Studenten, da regelmaessig Treffen stattfinden, im uebrigen bietet LA LENGUA eine Reihe von Exkursionen an. Quito ist im allgemeinen eine sehr facettenreiche Stadt mit vielen Gesichtern. Wir wurden allerorts mit offenen Armen empfangen und durften die ecuadorianische Gastfreundschaft in vollen Zuegen geniessen. Jeder der interessiert ist, die spanische Sprache schnell zu lernen und eine andere Kultur kennenzulernen, sollte intensiv ueber einen Aufenthalt in Quito nachdenken.

Yo recomiendo la escuela LA LENGUA porque los profesoras te enseñan profesionalmente como tu quieres, te ayudan a encontrar lo que buscas en la ciudad y son buenas amigas. Las excursiones para el fin de semana son muy variadas y bonitas. ¡Me gusta mucho aquí!
Die Schule LA LENGUA kann ich sehr empfehlen, die Lehrerinnen unterrichten dich nach deinen Wünschen, helfen dir, dich in der Grossstadt zurechtzufinden und sind gute Freunde auf die man sich verlassen kann. Die Ausflüge am Wochenende sind informativ, abwechslungsreich und seriös gefuehrt. Mir gefällt es hier!

THE SCHOOL
After arriving in Quito with no knowledge of Spanish and searching for schools I chose LA LENGUA. Seven weeks later I am still at the school and my Spanish has improved immensely. Learning has been great fun and the school has a real family atmosphere. The host families are extremely friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend LA LENGUA whatever level of Spanish you are. My seven weeks has been an amazing experience learning Spanish, having fun and making many new friends!

THE EXCURSIONS

The excursions at LA LENGUA are absolutely brilliant! They are professionally run by Nathalie and Narciso who are two extremely friendly and fun people who have also become great friends. I have been on trips to Cotopaxi, Otavalo, Papallacta, Laguna Mojanda and Crater Cuicocha. I have enjoyed every trip with experiences such as hiking a volcano crater with picturesque views all around, visiting indigenous people in Otavalo and lazing in natural hot springs to name a few. I highly recommend all those trips!
